Vidyashankara Temple, Sringeri

Vidyashankara Temple is an architectural masterpiece built in 1338 CE incorporating Hoysala and Dravidian styles. It features 12 zodiac pillars carved in such a manner that the rays of the morning sun fall on the pillar corresponding to the solar month.
