Dating to the 9th–10th century CE, the temple complex houses a Shivalinga as well as sculptures of Lord Bhairava and Lord Ganesha. It holds great ritual significance during the annual Ashokashtami festival when the Rukuna Rath chariot stops near the temple precincts.
