About

One of the oldest temples in northern Tamil Nadu, Tiruvottiyur Thyagaraja Temple is a Paadal Petra Sthalam associated with Saint Sundarar and Pattinathar. The stone structure was reconstructed in granite during Rajendra Chola I's reign with over 70 stone inscriptions.
