Ramesvara Temple Bhubaneswar

Ramesvara Temple (also locally known as Mausima Temple of Lingaraj) is an ancient 9th-century Shiva temple in Bhubaneswar. According to tradition, Lord Lingaraj visits this temple on Ashokashtami aboard his grand Rukuna Rath chariot to stay for four days. The sanctum preserves early Somavamsi architectural motifs and an ancient Shivalinga.
