About
The Parthasarathy Temple is an 8th-century Hindu Vaishnavite temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu in his form as Parthasarathy (Krishna as Arjuna's charioteer). Built originally by the Pallavas and later expanded by the Cholas and Vijayanagara kings, it is one of the 108 Divya Desams and features icons of five avatars of Vishnu in a single complex.
