Naganathar Temple in Thirunageswaram near Kumbakonam is one of the 9 Navagraha temples of Tamil Nadu, dedicated to Rahu. Built by Aditya Chola I in the 10th century and expanded by later Chola rulers, milk poured over the Rahu deity during Rahu Kalam allegedly turns blue.
