Lokanath Temple Puri

Lokanath Temple is one of the most prominent Shiva shrines in Puri, established in the 11th century CE. The presiding Shivalinga remains submerged underwater inside the sanctum in a natural spring throughout the year, and is visible to devotees only on Pankodhar Ekadashi when all the water is bailed out.
