About

Kanyakumari Tirupati Temple is a modern Dravidian stone temple dedicated to Lord Venkateswara, located within the 5.5-acre Vivekananda Kendra seashore campus in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu. Constructed by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) at a cost of ₹22.5 crore, the temple was consecrated with a Maha Kumbhabhishekam on January 27, 2019. Built using traditional granite stone architecture mirroring the sacred Tirumala hill temple, it features a grand vimanam, gopuram, ghoshala (cowshed), and annadhana halls. On April 14th annually, the sun's rays fall directly on the deity's feet.
