About

ISKCON Radha Gopinath Temple, Chowpatty, Mumbai is one of the most active ISKCON centres in India, located in the heart of South Mumbai near Girgaum Chowpatty beach. The temple is housed in a heritage stone building renovated with traditional temple interiors — marble altars, carved pillars, and hand-painted ceilings — with deities of Radha-Gopinath, Nitai-Gaurasundara, and Sita-Rama.

The Chowpatty ISKCON is renowned for its exceptional prasad distribution, its celebrated Ratha Yatra on Girgaum Chowpatty beach (one of Mumbai's largest religious processions), and its comprehensive Bhaktivedanta Hospital next door. The temple runs one of India's largest mid-day meals programmes (Annamrita) feeding over 12 lakh children daily across the country. It is widely regarded as one of the most spiritually vibrant ISKCON communities in the world.
